SETARA '13 is a review exercise involving 54 universities and university colleges that participated.
Forty-two IPTs achieved Tier 5 (Excellent) and 11 obtained Tier 4 (Very Good). None achieved Tier 6 (Distinction).
7 universities which were ranked in Tier 4 in the SETARA 2011 were upgraded to Tier 5 in the SETARA 2013 ranking. One university ranked in Tier 3 in the SETARA 2011 achieved Tier 4 in the SETARA 2013.

The University is also constantly working with the industry to set up specialised labs which ensure students are updated with the latest industrial practices.
